Purpose:
An exchange between two churches (Jackson – Dr Fabio) in the construction project of the church, evangelism, and the mutual building up of one another in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Goals / Objectives
To be “participant observers” in the Brazilian culture. To be willing to participate and try something new. To observe the customs. Take notes. Reflect. Ask questions. Learn about Brazil and how things work. To know about their faith in Christ and ask them about it. To share our faith, share our life verses and other scripture, using the Bible and language dictionary to communicate.
Day to Day Stuff
· Construction work program
· Meals
· Debriefing times
· Laundry
· Church worship services
· Special Activities (ministry and leisure)
Cautions
Food and Water --- Be willing to try new foods, but feel free to say no if you are not sure about it. Drink only bottled mineral water --- we’ll be providing it.
Toilet Paper, Showers, the okay sign (don’t use it.), and other such things
Heat --- Take necessary precautions against the heat and sun. Sunblock.
Work Site Safety --- Be watchful. Don’t assume everything is sturdy. Test it.
Petty Crime --- Watch your cameras, cell phones, i-phones, etc. electronic items are “targets”.

· Dan, Bill A., Dave staying with Ney/Veruska Caio-5; Camile-2 1/2; Rebeca-6 months

Sat 11Oct Sao Paulo Owsleys airport - ar Cuiaba 4:50 pm (reception meal / sharing)

Sat, Oct 18 – Sun Oct 26 Dave and Mary in Cuiabá, staying with same host family; Pr Ney and his wife, Veruska, will coordinate their ministry work; and there will be a translator who is a YWAM missionary.
Prayer Focus:
For the host families
For the blessing of God upon the Dr Fabio neighborhood in Cuiaba…a special outpouring of HIS healing and grace upon the people.
